Fire led to room downgrade for three nights.

Had a fantastic time with a group of friends. We hit up an Onion Festival and enjoyed some local brews while sitting over aromatic cappuccinos at a cozy café. The hotel was clean and super accessible, just steps from transport. Definitely recommend checking out the breakfast buffet for a great start to the day!

One downside was a housekeeping mix-up. our do not disturb sign was overlooked, and a staff member came in early. It caught us off guard, but we handled it.

I recently spent three nights in a Standard Double Room at Intercityhotel in Darmstadt. The location really stood out for me, right next to the train station, making it super easy to get around. My room was clean, well-designed, and spacious, which I appreciated. The staff were friendly and helpful, always quick to address my needs. The breakfast buffet was a nice touch, with a variety of choices to kickstart my day. One downside was that the pillows weren’t the most comfortable. I struggled to find a good position to sleep well. Another issue was a bit of noise from cargo trains, even with the windows closed. These things aside, I enjoyed my stay and would come back for its convenience and warmth.

Easy check-in, clean room, good bedding. Wifi slow, breakfast a bit pricey. Location next to train station is very convenient. Free public transportation pass is a nice perk.
